Inauguration of the newly completed paediatric block of Asraya Charitable Society located near Malabar Cancer Centre will be held on Saturday, 8th April 2023. Hon. Chief minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the newly constructed Paediatric Block & Rename the building as "Kodiyeri Smaraka Santhwana Kendram."

Hon. Speaker Shri A.N. Shamseer will be the chief guest. Asraya Charitable Society Shri. O.V.Mustaffa will preside over the function. Shri.M.V.Jayarajan will unveil the photo of Late. Shri. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Shri.P.Jayarajan will inaugurate the newly installed Lift Service. Many prominent personalities will be present on the occasion.

In order to create a very pleasing and child friendly ambiance to the paediatric block, an artists’ camp was held on 1 April 2023. The spectacular camp was organized by Sri. Pradeep Chokli, Kerala State Chalachithra Academy Council Member and Selvan Meloor. The closing ceremony of the camp was inaugurated by the great artist K.K.Marar.

Kodiyeri Balakrishnan who has been the Patron & backbone of our foundation.

The welcome committee formation for the successful culmination of the inaugural program was held on 30 March 2023. Honourable Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly Advocate A. N. Shamseer inaugurated the meeting. Thalassery Municipal Chairperson Smt. Jamunarani Teacher presided over the function and Karai Chandrasekharan, P.P Gangadharan, VP Vijesh, Councillors Smt. Vasantha and Smt. Mahija Teacher participated. Asraya Secretary K.Achuthan welcomed the gathering and Joint. Secretary P. Kanaka Rajan delivered the vote of thanks.

Shri. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan ( Hon'ble MLA and CPI(M) State Secretary ), who has been the backbone of our foundation will be inaugurating the building. Padma Shri M A Yusuf Ali will be our chief guest. Many other prominent personalities will also be present during the ceremony.
