An organization in the field of social service is being constituted at Thalassery. It is a joint venture of a group of benevolent people who work with commitment, and it aims at providing Medical care, Social security and encouraging cultural development. The organization is geared upto undertake a number of charitable activities.

The first enterprise of the Ashraya Charitable Society is to construct a Centre for Palliative Care in the vicinity of the Malabar Cancer Centre. A six storied building to house the Palliative Care Centre is in the planning stage. It will be designed to furnish accommodation for outpatients and the bystanders who come from distant places.

We look forward to integrate with the Palliative Care Centre; a Palliative clinic, a Health Club and a Centre for Physiotherapy. We also plan to offer hybrid treatment schemes, blood donation service and to the provide medical care, medicines, laboratory and travelling facilities and a community hall for poor patients.
